Why MATYKO Was Born

For a long time, openness toward spirituality has been present in my life.
My path, however, was erratic for a long time: repeated beginnings, abandonments, brief flare-ups. Very little truly remained in my everyday life.

All of this changed when I became a father.

Questions of the ego grew quieter.
Responsibility, however, grew stronger: what I pass on, what kind of example I leave behind, and what truly matters.

From this perspective, spirituality — presence, meditation, self-observation, mindset, behavior — became not an abstract idea, but a necessity.

The goal is simple. The realization is not.

To be increasingly present in everyday life, to recognize what leads in the right direction, and to quietly let go of what is merely noise. This is especially difficult in a world where we are constantly surrounded by information, expectations, and distracting stimuli.

MATYKO is not a guide.
It does not teach, it does not claim truth.

It is the notes of a family man on his own path.
Reflections on fatherhood, responsibility, and letting go of the ego. Thoughts on presence, veganism as compassion, and a simpler, more conscious way of living.

The ultimate direction for me is the Source.
The One. The Origin. Where — so I believe — we come from. I feel that the noise and pace of this world have distanced us from that state. The task is nothing more than to find our way back.

My path is only one among many.
A personal experience. A search. A process.

If it resonates, that’s good. If not, that’s fine too.
